Hello,

 

we’re currently simulating an hotel building pursuing LEED v4 Certification. Regarding the simulation procedures, we have two questions:

Would be acceptable to have 1 bin for commingled recyclable waste (+ 1 bin for e-waste + 1 bin for batteries) and a waste contract that confirmes that commingled recyclable waste is sorted int

Table 7.8 DHW performance requirements for electric instantaneous water heater

I see there is "Gas Instantaneous Water Heaters" in Table 7.8, but there is not an "Electric Instantaneous Water Heater" in the table.  Is the "Electric Water Heaters" term meant to be generic

For new construction projects, the Ref Guide excludes insulation around HVAC ducts from the IEQc2 requirements (p.668).

Demand Response for Residential buildings

Has anyone pursued this credit for a multifamily building? I'm assuming the automated demand response would only apply to common areas under the building management's control.

Can you round percentages on indoor water use reduction?

Hi!  Our project is currently meeting 49.95% reduction on indoor water use.  Does anyone have any experience about whether it is possible to round this up to 50% for the maximum of 6 poin
