Best /easiest/fastest way to measure density?

For a site in Manhattan, just by using Google Earth and drawing a 1/4 mile circle is easy to see that the density is met without any issues.  But for sites near open spaces, or in suburban are

I'm working on a 5 story hotel in San Jose, Ca.  The project is considering adding Microturbines.  Has anyone modeled these in EnergyPro?  If so, are they modeled in a similar manner

I’ve been working on a LEED project with VRF & DOAS in San Jose, CA.  For the LEED Energy Model, EnergySoft suggested attaching the DOAS to 10 sq. ft.
