Design for Active Occupants in mixed-use building

NC-v4 INc1:Innovation

I'm wondering if anyone has any insights into applying this credit to a building with distinct spaces/occupancies. A common building type we work with is an academic building adjoining a dorm.

Hi. We are working on a TI within a shell building which will have a bar, seating, lounge area, kitchen prep areas with support spaces and its own restrooms. No office function etc.

In the past we have just placed a typical walk off mat at the door in classrooms that have exterior doors. These are typical kindergarten classrooms that empty right onto the playground.
