Outdoor Air for Corridors and Stairs

CS-v4 EQp1:Minimum indoor air quality performance

ASHRAE 62.1 requires outdoor air to be provided to corridors - stairs seems to be a grey area ?. If you are using Option 2.

Do the same restrictive rules apply to the Building Envelope CxA as they do to the MEP CxA?  I don't see any detail about this on the USGBC site.
