I am working on a Non-US project that is located in a new neighborhood that had been graded and developed by the local Municipality (roads and sidewalks) in 2006.

Previously Developed Site vs. Prime Farmland

I have a site that is currently on previously developed site. Utilities, sidewalks, etc are already in place. However the Soil Survey says the land the is prime farmland if drained.

Our project is LEED NCv2009 and the site is designated as "Farmland of Statewide Importance", but not Prime Farmland. We are trying to clarify Prime Farmland v. Farmland of Statewide Importance.

why the distance between the previously undeveloped land and a water body is taken 50 feet???? can u more elaborate the reason why the distance is being taken 50 feet......

Hi. The LEED Online form for this credit was updated recently and now international projects have to "Provide documents identifying how the local equivalent used is equivalent to the referenced".
