I am reviewing a submittal for duct sealant Hardcast Flex-Grip 550 which specifies a VOC limit of 75g/l (less water).

Hi, If the amount of sealant or adhesive material is very small, also has to count or from some percentage can be neglected? Have to account 100% of sealants and adhesives materials? Thanks.

I keep being asked if Pressure Sensitive Tape qualifies as an adhesive subject to review for EQ c4.1. Normally I'd say no but some carpet installations use similar products.

Just to be safe we've always included the seam adhesives as "carpet adhesives" and have been able to specify products that comply with the 50 g/L. threshold.
