A supplier is claiming that it is not possible to have a fire door core without added urea formaldehyde. Has anybody got experiance with compliance regarding this product? All feedback welcome.

We have had problems with wood veneers that blacken/discolor when installed over fire-treated NAUF substrate, especially with light-colored wood.
