Minimum Performance Measuring Time
EBOM-2009 EAc3.2:Performance Measurement—System-Level Meteringposted by Marina Andrade on
Greetings, We have a doubt about the credit EA C3.2 from LEED EB O&M. What is the minimum time to measure performance of the major’s building systems by the breakdown of energy?
Instantaneous and/or totalized
EBOM-2009 EAc3.2:Performance Measurement—System-Level Meteringposted by James Gray on
For natural gas metering applications, is continuous logging of instantaneous flows a requirement? Most meters just put out totalized pulses, so I'm assuming that's fine... Any thoughts?
Performance period duration

The LEED Online form requests that “monthly and annual summaries of the metered energy usage for each of the subsystems”.
Commercial Building with Tenant spaces fully submetered

I am wondering if a commercial building, where over 90% of the building is submetered tenant space would qualify for this credit.
Subsystem or End Use Type
EBOM-2009 EAc3.2:Performance Measurement—System-Level Meteringposted by Ran Zhang on
On page 200 of the LEED-EB reference guide, Table 1- Sample Summary of Energy and Metering Capacity lists major energy-consumption subsystems and end-uses.
Occupancy in the building
EBOM-2009 EAc3.2:Performance Measurement—System-Level Meteringposted by Alberto Cardenas on
My question is if the occupancy of the building is a single person in this case of an institution and has no tenants can apply for this credit.
Can gas metering only qualify for EAc3.2?

Under LEED EBOM 2009 I am considering attempting metering under credit EAc3.2 for a 200,000 sq. ft.
measuring heat pump load for system submetering

I have about 35 ceiling- mounted heat pumps throughout the building, and it would be cost-prohibitive to install a separate meter on each one.
Interpretation doubt

Hello, I've got a doubt about the time that we should develop the breakdown of energy.
Calibration
EBOM-2009 EAc3.2:Performance Measurement—System-Level Meteringposted by Gustavo De las Heras Izquierdo on
Hallo, According to the BMS and HVAC subcontractor, the sensors do not need to be calibrated, particularly CO sensors and chilled water temperature sensors.
