We are working on certifying a building that has demand-controlled ventilation (DCV), controlled by CO2 sensors.

We've had a designer tell us that built-in furniture and case work (like a fan-coil unit enclosure) can be deducted from the square footage of a room when calculating the window opening requirement

I try to fill out the ASHRAE 62MZ calculator and have some problems with it: 1) We have lots of AHUs in our building (Some Vanitlation systems, some AC-systems and some are only exhaust systems).

We are using the 62MZ Calculator spreadsheet for an office building. The HVAC system does not utilize VAV boxes or any kind of terminal unit. Rather, it just feeds directly into each space.

Has anyone had experience documenting IEQp1 in the following situation?: I recently visited a facility that has one outdoor air intake for multiple AHUS.
