VRF Systems - Option 1 of EAc1.3

I am looking for some feedback on the interpretation for appropriate zoning and controls. It appears that every solar exposure must have a separate control zone.

Determining Baseline System Type

I am trying to correctly determine the baseline system for my LEED energy model. I have a 7-story hotel building so it will either be System 1- PTAC or System 2 –PTHP based on ASHRAE 90.1-2007.

Heat Pump for Domestic Water Heating

We are using heat pumps for domestic water heating. (The water source will be from the campus/district condenser water system.) Can we take credit in the energy calculations using heat pumps?

Hi, For one of my LEED CI project, air distribution is a CAV system. There is a VFD for AHU though. To document EA c 1.3, i need to meet CPG requirement.

We plan to option 1 equipment efficiency. 1 We have 500,000+ Btu/h VRF compressor which is specified in CEE Tier two as "NA".

Hello Marcus. We have a project that will be applying for LEED certification under CI. The project is located on 4th floor within an office building with 5-floors.
