Basic services within the same shopping center

CI-2009 SSc2:Development Density and Community Connectivity

The LEED CI 2009 reference guide states that the project building itself cannot be considered 1 of the 10 basic services; however in a mixed-use building, a maximum of 1 service wtihin the building

We are working on a Mosque in Qatar. All visitors to the mosque remove their shoes prior to entering the building. We would like to avoid placing mats at the entrance due to aesthetic reasons.

Can title 24-2008 compliance be used in lieu of ASHRAE 90.1-200?

I am currently involved in a 200,000SF LEED-CI 2009 project in California. To achieve credit EAc1.3, can title 24-2008 be used in lieu of ASHRAE 90.1-2007? Any advice will be appreciated.

Our building includes private offices, open office areas, and meeting rooms. We have provided CO2 sensors for meeting rooms that have a density of 25 people per 1000 sf or more.

Showers in a recreation center

We are working on a recreation center with a gym and several pools. More efficient showers in the locker rooms will save a lot of water.

rebar mill certificates

The reviewer question the distance on the rebar steel. Will the mill certificates be enough verification of the distance. Showing the distances of the (2) Mills where the material was composed?

Ionized Water

At our campus we use ionized water as a general cleaning solution and thus avoid the purchase of cleaning products that would be used for general cleaning.
