The project we are modeling belongs to System 5. There is however no cooling needed or designed.

30% fresh air allowance over minimum requirements of ASHRAE Standard 62.1

I strongly question this application of minimum 30% more fresh above ASHRAE Standard 62.1 for buildings in hot and humid climates like Colombo in Sri Lanka where designers on specific project insis

I've read up on this topic previously but am still quite confused. When running the daylight analysis for a large elementary school, 9 AM ran at 90% and 3 PM ran at 77%.
