ASHRAE 90.1 states:

G3.1.3.6 Piping Losses losses shall not be modeled in either the proposed or baseline
building designs for hot water, chilled water, or steam piping.

The energy consumption of humidification system has to be equal in baseline and Proposed building?? 

Is it considered process load??

I am not quite sure the approach we're using in a zero lot line project is correct to achieve this credit and would like to have your opinion.

In the proposed system service hot water is heated in a water tank that is heated by a hot water loop that is connected with a gas boiler.

We are certifying a project that is being developed in a site that comprises a District Energy System based on a Combined Heating and Power Plant (DES-CHP).
