Regarding what is taken as a process energy. Ashrae 90.1 - "Energy consumed in support of a manufacturing, industrial, or commercial process other than conditioning spaces and maintaining comfort and amenities for the occupants of a building". So am I correct in saying anything out side occupant comfort levels is taken as process, say a space cooled to 16 degrees celcius? Or a least that part of the energy that is beyond comfort levels? Also, is the energy serving a 100% fresh air AHU (for process purposes), taken as process energy as this is not for occupant comfort, regardless of temperature? Thanks in advance!
