Healthcare-v2009 SSc4.3:Alternative transportation - low-emitting and fuel-efficient vehicles

SS 4.3

Our project is an hospital and the municipal code requires that places that generate traffic, like hospitals, they must have motorcycle parkings too, not only parking capacity for cars, we have to include in the account for the 5% of the total vehicle parking capacity for low emitting fuel this type of parking capacity or we have just to include cars in the account? Thank you.

LEED just wants to address the cars. There is more discussion on the NC board about motorcycles if you want to understand the issue better. I doubt that the GBCI would vary their policy for healthcare or for municipal code. But you may want to check the ACP if the project is outside the US.
