Active ingredient

Hi All, Our client uses pesticides/chemicals in their facility, some are those that are commercially available or sold for household use, however the active ingredient is not present on the SF hazard screening list. How can we determine the tier or level of toxicity of the pesticide if the active ingredient is not present in the list? Thanks in advance.

Hi Mary Ann, If the active ingredients of your product are not listed in the SF Pesticide Hazard Screening List as a Tier 3 Product, then that product is not considered least toxic. In this case, you will need to provide universal notification to the building occupants when using this product.
