NC-2009 PIf2:Project Summary Details

Building Footprint Clarification

The project I am documenting has 6 floors above grade. None of the floors have an identical floor plate. When entering the Building Footprint into Plf2, should I use the greater outline of all 6 floors combined, or is the grade foot print the desired information? There is about a 5,000 SF difference between the two areas. For future reference is there a standard for Building Footprint that I should follow?

James - your grade footprint should be reported for this form. This information connects to SSc5.2 (to calculate the site area minus building footprint for compliance), which only looks at the grade footprint.
