I have a question related to fundamental commissioning of a special building - a new factory building with a large processing area and some administration with offices and meeting rooms. In total about 10000 m2.
Due to the very special use and demands of the factory the tender needs to include preliminary design based on experiences from earlier projects. The tender it is about to be published. Does the project fulfill Fundamental Commissioning if the CxA agreement takes place now in connection with the contracting with the contractor? In this connection the CxA-agent will review the tender that includes the preliminary design, and the CxA-agent will do the comissioning plan and ensure the commissioning of the detailed design, construction and installations, and the functionality. The CxA-agent will be experienced and an independent person of the project design and construction by the contractor.
