Pilot-Credits WEpc153:Water Leak Detection and Monitoring

Leak detection based on water meter

Hey,

The credit languages is stating to "Install water sensors connected to a local network internet BMS or metering solution on water using subsystems."

Would it be ok to install submeters with a precision to the liter and to connect this meter to a building automation with alarms detecting a continuous consumption of water outside of building opening ? Our building is an office and commercial type.

Thanks in advanced

Hi. The Pilot credit requires that you complete the WE Credit Water Metering. What you are describing is along the lines of that credit. The pilot credit is looking for water leak detection sensors, not meters. Check out the https://www.watercop.com/

Hi Michaël, thanks for posting this. We are reviewing the same pilot credit and have a similar question because the requirement mentions sensors connected to a local network internet BMS, or a metering solution.Did you ever get an answer on this, or were you able to achieve the pilot credit using water meters/submeters to detect leaks? We are trying to understand whether the “or metering solution” language was accepted by the reviewer in place of dedicated leak detection sensors.Any update from your experience would be much appreciated.
