Does anyone know if the 'square footage of all parking areas' includes the drives as well, or is it only the parking stalls themselves?

1. In calculating the gross floor area of an office located in a building with curtain walls, would the measurement be taken from the exterior face of the curtain wall?

I am working on a project that already has a building located on the site. We are adding a new building addition to the site.

ASHRAE is not specific about deducting for floor openings. For cost estimating and code review, we normally deduct elevator shafts and stairwells.

Im sure this is addressed somewhere but my apologies I haven't found this info. When summarizing building square footage for PIf2, do outdoor balconies (of upper floors) need to be included?

I submitted a project for D&C review. The project is a 25,000 SF addition to an already LEED certified building of 60,000 SF.

Our project that has been submitted for certification was completed in early 2012. The project was built exactly as it was submitted for the LEED review.
