Question: I am working on a new LEED-NC project in california that is using a modular/prefab construction type with mechanical systems that do not require permits via the T-24 code.

ASHRAE 90.1-2007 Sec G3.1.3.10 requests that users specify pump power of 22 W/gpm, with a primary / secondary pumping system and variable flow on the secondary side.

My baseline is under system 6 in which the parallel PIU fans has to be introduced for each zones.

In the section 8.4 Feeder conductors shall be sized for a maximum voltage drop of 2% at design loadand branch circuit condutors shall be sized for a maximum voltage drop of 3% at design load. I'm
